As a reliable logistics professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods in Hull. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a reputable client, providing consistent and quality service in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and offloading vehicles into designated areas
  • Maintaining an adequate supply of sundry items, such as labels, repair kits, and bags
  • Collecting and delivering items, loading/emptying OPD lockers, and exchanging dust control mats as documented
  • Accurately completing all necessary paperwork
  • Maintaining positive customer relations and acting as a liaison between the customer and the company
  • Adhering to BS EN ISO 9001 and 14001 Local Working Instructions, as well as the Company's Operations Manual
  • Forwarding queries and keeping relevant managers and colleagues informed as necessary
  • Obtaining signatures and maintaining accurate records where required
  • Looking for opportunities to expand the business and reporting as appropriate
  • Maintaining a clean vehicle and performing all vehicle checks as outlined
  • Ensuring no driver infringements occur and following driver infringement policies
  • Wearing and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and handling aids as provided
  • Following all health and safety policies in accordance with both company and customer standards
  • Attending mandatory training and contributing to fostering positive working relations with customers, colleagues, and supervisors
  • Maintaining confidentiality of customer and company information

The ideal candidate will have a valid UK driving license with C1 category (7.5-tonne vehicle license), a Driver CPC qualification card, and up-to-date tachograph. Previous experience driving a 7.5-ton vehicle and strong safety awareness are also essential.

**Salary:** £12.95 per hour
**Location:** Hull
**Duration:** Ongoing
**Working Hours:** Monday to Friday circa 9 hours 45 minutes per day from 5:30 to 6:00 am and circa 8 hours 45 minutes on a Friday totalling to 44 hours per week.
