Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Geography Educator to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Geography Educator, you will be responsible for teaching Geography to students in a secondary school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Teach Geography to students in a secondary school setting
• Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to achieve academic goals
• Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Geography education

Requirements:

• UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS or QTLS)
• Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and the Geography programmes of study
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent subject knowledge and ability to teach and inspire positive learning attitudes
• Ability to adapt quickly within a new school environment and be a good team player
• Current Enhanced DBS registration or willingness to apply for a new Enhanced DBS
