Indirect Tax Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Indirect Tax Professional to join our team at Chubb. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing indirect tax advisory and compliance services to Chubb and affiliated companies across the EMEA and wider region.
The role will involve supporting the Indirect Tax team in providing technical indirect tax guidance and advice, as well as supporting planning and in-depth project involvement. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting with end-to-end tax compliance obligations around Value Added Tax (VAT), Insurance Premium Tax (IPT), parafiscal taxes, indirect tax accounting and associated e-filing where required.
The ideal candidate will have a background working in a VAT environment with a good grasp of VAT law as well as formal VAT guidance. They will also be qualified with either a professional tax or accounting qualification and have experience in indirect tax (VAT and ideally IPT). A keen interest in the structure and functioning of systems/automation with a view towards current & future tax requirements particularly around increased data demands is also essential.
The successful candidate will be able to take ownership and not need to be micro-managed. They will also have good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work to demanding reporting timetables and deadlines in a pressurised environment.
