Transport Administrator

Menzies Distribution is seeking a skilled Transport Administrator to provide exceptional support in our Droitwich depot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transport services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all administrative tasks related to transport, including despatch and tracking of vehicles
  • Liaise with internal and external customers, suppliers, and drivers to ensure seamless communication
  • Monitor and report on transport operations, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Support the planning of routes and ensure compliance with transport legislation
  • Respond to breakdowns and vehicle defect reports in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • General understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations
  • Experience in producing reports and statistics in a timely manner
  • Ability to work in a customer-focused, time-sensitive environment with fluctuating workloads
  • Good computer skills, with experience using in-house transport management systems an advantage
