This role is ideal for an organised professional with a keen eye for detail. As the Education Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing all exam-related processes within the school.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and managing the entire exam schedule, including mock exams, GCSEs, and other assessments.
- Liaising with exam boards to ensure accurate and timely entries.
- Overseeing the setup of examination rooms and organising invigilation teams.
- Ensuring compliance with exam board regulations and maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinating access arrangements for students with additional needs.
- Managing the secure storage and distribution of exam materials.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Previous experience in an education administration role or similar setting.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with staff, students, and external contacts.
- Proficiency in using databases, spreadsheets, and other IT systems.
- A high level of attention to detail and understanding of exam board regulations.
Please note that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles. Successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
