Maths Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our team for a temporary maternity cover position. This exciting opportunity allows you to teach at a high-achieving secondary school in a picturesque town.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, promoting a strong understanding of mathematics and student progression.
  • Monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support student growth.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging student engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum consistency and student progression.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills.
  • Strong classroom management abilities and a passion for teaching.
