Job Title: Cover Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at GSL Education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing class cover across various subjects and supporting students in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality cover lessons across a range of subjects
  • Support students in achieving their academic goals
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, teachers, and other stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Experience in an educational setting or equivalent
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong behavioural management skills
  • Ability to motivate students to reach their potential
  • Good level of general education

Please note that experience in an educational setting may not be necessary if the candidate can display desirable skills that are transferrable, such as from a sporting background or other leadership positions. The main prerequisite is that one is confident speaking in front of large groups and carrying out behaviour management policies. Graduates looking to train to teach are particularly desirable.
