About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit and Accounts Manager to join our team at Response Personnel Ltd. As a key member of our audit and accounts department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors, including sole traders and limited companies.
  • Deliver audit, accounting, and tax compliance services to clients, including preparing statutory and management accounts, personal and corporation tax returns, and bookkeeping and management accounts.
  • Mentor and support the apprentice team, providing guidance and training where required.
  • Take a proactive role in ensuring workflow is maintained through the organization, ensuring audit work is completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Be an integral part of the management team, working towards team goals of growth for the practice while ensuring a fun and friendly working environment.
Requirements
  • ACCA or ACA qualified with more than 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience of auditing groups would be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to apply analytical skills to business problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to address technical and non-technical audiences in formal and informal settings.
  • Good attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience and comfortable working with multiple systems for reporting and data manipulation.
  • Located ideally within driving distance and a license holder.
  • Strong client-facing skills, with a willingness to engage and promote the business effectively at various local networking and training events.
