Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and technical Pre-Sales Network Systems Engineer to provide pre-sales technical support for our customers and prospects in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Arista Account Managers to understand and solve customer challenges, conduct network architectural sessions, and propose Arista Data Center, Routing & Campus network and security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Arista Account Managers to understand and solve customer challenges
  • Conduct network architectural sessions and Arista product presentations
  • Architect, design, and propose Arista Data Center, Routing & Campus network and security solutions
  • Perform hands-on customer proof-of-concepts and initial network deployments
  • Create design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers
  • Lead customer feature requests from customer requirements to implementation to deployment
Requirements
  • Highly-motivated, technical, proactive, and flexible team player
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to travel on a National or Neighboring Country basis to support customers
  • Networking design and implementation experience
  • Recent experience in Data Center, Routing, and/or Campus network architecture designs
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Work experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Pre-Sales Systems Engineer, or Network Consulting Engineer preferred
  • Practical security deployment experience is a plus
  • Experience and/or interest in learning Netops / Devops using tools such as Python and Ansible
