Are you a skilled language expert looking for a flexible and rewarding role?

We are seeking an interpreter to join our team at Language Empire, providing high-quality interpreting services to various settings such as the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organizations.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who can speak one or more foreign languages and want to make a crucial impact in politics, business, healthcare, and public service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret for individuals using legal, health, and local government services with 100% accuracy.
  • Verify the non-English speaker's understanding after each sentence.
  • Provide conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting services.
  • Handle highly confidential information with discretion.
  • Liaise between the service user and provider effectively.
Requirements
  • Fluent English and another language skills.
  • All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Aged 21 or over.
  • Formal qualifications like Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI), Community Interpreting, NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration, or Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages.
