We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse - Acute. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative mental health hospital based in the Greater Manchester area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Ward Manager in providing day-to-day management and supervision of the ward, as well as implementing best practice and supporting changes within the service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Ward Manager in providing management and supervision of a team of registered and unregistered staff
- Implementing best practice across the ward
- Supporting changes within the service
- Responsible for the clinical direction of the service
- Supporting the delivery of personalized care and contributing to service improvement
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. They will also have a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
We offer a competitive salary of £40,014 - £43,313.92 per annum DOE, as well as a range of benefits including a £5,000 welcome bonus, free onsite parking, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
