About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Executive to join our team at The Random House Group Limited. As a Sales Operations Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the Sales Operations side of our key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage key account orders using systems, processes, and data, while collaborating with Inventory Management, Sales Manager, and Customer Services.
  • Engage directly with customers regarding order supply and advise on optimal order volumes in collaboration with Sales Manager.
  • Track and manage marketing spend through a dedicated P2P portal, and organize the authorization and processing of retro credits.
  • Investigate and authorize customer claims and returns, coordinating with our Credit Services team.
  • Be the main point of contact between Quadrille sales team and PRH International Sales team.
  • Be the main point of contact for author and event orders.
  • Run monthly commission reports for freelance reps.
  • Produce sales figures for analysis and forecasting using internal and customer-specific systems.
  • Provide customers with new title data and marketing material by producing spreadsheets and creating PowerPoint slides.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in Sales is essential. Ideally within publishing.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills.
  • Ability to understand data and identify anomalies in sales figures and data.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with team members, the wider Sales team, key stakeholders, and customers.
  • Ability to independently plan and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
