Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with other professionals, including healthcare staff, social workers, and family members, to ensure comprehensive support and care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and carers, promoting trust and confidence.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that the needs and preferences of service users are met.
Requirements
  • Passion for working with individuals with disabilities and a commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
  • Basic knowledge of health and social care principles and practices, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
  • Valid DBS check and ability to work with vulnerable adults.
