Automotive Refinisher

We are seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our team at Tech Connect Group. As a Paint Technician, you will play a critical role in the Operations & Logistics team, responsible for the painting and refinishing of commercial automotive parts using HVLP equipment.

• Apply high-quality paint coatings to meet exacting standards.
• Mix and match paint according to specifications to ensure flawless surface quality.
• Operate spray guns and low-bake ovens efficiently and maintain their cleanliness.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and organization.
• Ensure effective supply and movement of parts/products, adhering to COSHH standards.
• Complete necessary process documentation in line with build instructions.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential roadblocks to ensure continuous improvement.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

• City & Guilds Level 3 or IMI in automotive refinishing, or significant relevant experience.
• Proficiency in paint application techniques, color mixing, and use of various tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with ovens, drying techniques, and curing procedures.
• Strong understanding of safety processes, proper PPE usage, and fire awareness.
• Knowledge of quality conformance requirements and continuous improvement principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions.
