Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and support to ensure compliance with legislation and corporate policy to Line Managers.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of incident trends, follow up on actions from audits and incidents.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly QHSE statistics to site management.
  • Advise and assist with ongoing investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and ensuring all actions are completed within the site's agreed SLA timings.
  • Manage Food Safety and Quality standards within the operation.

Requirements for Success:

  • Experience working at a similar level within a logistics or warehousing environment, ideally within 3PL.
  • Confidence in engaging with colleagues at all levels, as well as the ability to build strong working relationships with senior management and customers alike.
  • Working towards or desire to obtain a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent - National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.
  • Experience in QHSE Management systems.
  • The candidate will ideally have experience of Food Safety Regulations/Compliance in accordance with BRC Global Standard for Warehousing & Distribution Issue 4.
