We are seeking a highly skilled Medication Safety Pharmacist to join our team at Sciensus. As a key member of our clinical governance team, you will play a critical role in improving incident reporting for medication errors and medical devices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve medication safety and reduce errors
- Collaborate with managers, pharmacists, and nurses to implement improvements and share learnings
- Represent Sciensus in local and national safety networks
- Manage incident reporting, conduct root cause analyses, and produce detailed, actionable reports
- Develop patient safety training materials and SOPs, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all processes

Requirements- Undergraduate Degree in Pharmacy
- Registered with the GPhC and completion of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as per guidelines
- Significant experience working as a pharmacist in a community or hospital environment
- Experience working within clinical governance and medication safety
- Able to demonstrate the ability to influence decision making with key stakeholders
- Experience of change management
- Familiar with the National Reporting & Learning System (NRLS), NRLS coding, and Yellow card reporting scheme
- Never Event Policy and Framework
