About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at ESP Utilities Group Ltd. In this key role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe adoption of distribution networks operating up to 11kV.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing applications for connections on to the upstream operator's network associated with ESP managed networks. You will be responsible for verifying applications for connections made by customers associated with asset adoption works.

As a Senior Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will also manage applications made by other network operators or customers for connections on to ESP networks, including evaluation of any network reinforcement requirements.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external parties to deliver CAD designs and drawings where required. This includes developing safety and risk assessment requirements needed at the design and adoption stages of a project.

Our ideal candidate will ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the requirements of our Health and Safety Policy and Asset Management System.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensuring compliance with design, construction, and safety standards as appropriate.
  2. Liaison with customers over network design issues to ensure compliance with our design and construction policies and standards.
  3. Management of applications for connections on to the upstream operator's network associated with ESP managed networks.
  4. Verification of applications for connections made by customers associated with asset adoption works.
  5. Manage applications made by other network operators or customers for connections on to ESP networks, including evaluation of any network reinforcement requirements.
  6. Delivery of CAD designs and drawings where required.
  7. Development of safety and risk assessment requirements needed at the design and adoption stages of a project.
  8. Ensure adherence to our Health and Safety Policy and Asset Management System.
