Job Summary

The Reliability Maintenance Engineering team at Amazon is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global network of fulfillment centers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
  2. Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
  3. Use the latest tools to maximize equipment effectiveness
  4. Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
  5. Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
  6. Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with senior colleagues to undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks, including painting and plumbing. You will also liaise with contractors if external expertise is required. The role involves working on a range of shifts to ensure our sites are supported around the clock.

Requirements

  1. Served a full Engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject
  2. Relevant experience as a qualified engineer
  3. Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
  4. Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
