Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage budgets and forecasts to drive business growth.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the Board.
  • Analyze weekly wage and revenue data to inform business decisions.
  • Oversee working capital, including billing and collection, and debtor management.
  • Collaborate with the Hotel General Manager, Director of Golf, and other Heads of Department to drive business success.
  • Manage fixed asset registers and oversee the annual audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and manage payroll.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified member of an accountancy body (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Experience in the Hotel, Hospitality, Catering, Events, Golf, and Leisure sectors is desirable.
  • Proven track record of producing accounts, KPIs, and reports at Board level.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Desirable to have experience working with POS systems and Property Management Systems.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Personal Qualities:

  • Commercially astute and articulate.
  • Approachable and professional in presentation and communication.
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with strong organization skills and ability to work under pressure.
