Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strength and Conditioning Practitioner to join our team on a 7-month fixed-term contract, working 15 hours per week in Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver strength and conditioning programs for athletes to enhance their performance and reduce the risk of injury.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to support athlete development, focusing on technical skill acquisition and physical conditioning.
  • Collaborate with coaches and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to athlete development, aligning with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor athlete progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions.
Requirements
  • Strong background in strength and conditioning, with experience working with athletes at a high level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including athletes, coaches, and support staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer

The salary for this role is £38,881.34 per annum, pro rata for 15 hours per week.

This is a fixed-term contract for 7 months, providing an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the organization's success.
