The Role: DevOps Engineer

We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our high-performance, real-time distributed exchange systems. You'll be responsible for crafting and fortifying the backbone of our dynamic software infrastructure, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with development teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Nix.
  • Design, build, and manage our Kubernetes-based microservices architecture within the AWS cloud environment.
  • Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack, and other relevant technologies.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible and Terraform.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to our software services and infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based application architecture patterns and best practices.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and other relevant database technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
