Job Title: Creative Retoucher

We are seeking a highly skilled Creative Retoucher to join our team at JDO. As a key member of our packaging design team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, print-ready artwork images that meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Translate creative concepts into polished, print-ready artwork images for packaging.
  2. Develop a sound understanding of packaging artwork and print processes.
  3. Approach workstreams with an inquisitive nature and a keenness to problem solve and react to time-sensitive challenges.
  4. Show ambition to learn and explore innovative solutions.
  5. Communicate effectively with the CS & Creative teams.
  6. Guide the CS team on retouching requirements and flag constraints that may impact project delivery timelines.
  7. Maintain a positive, supportive, and calming influence in the production team.
Requirements:
  1. A history of producing captivating print-ready images as a Packaging Retoucher or in a similar role.
  2. Essential experience in FMCG packaging and large range adaptive rollouts projects.
  3. Proficiency in Photoshop and fluency in Illustrator and other Adobe Creative packages.
  4. Knowledge of packaging print processes and ability separations (DCS) and managing proofs.
  5. Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
  6. Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset.
