Job Title: Intervention Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Intervention Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education - London.

Job Purpose:

To provide targeted support to students who require additional help in maths and/or English, working closely with teachers to deliver effective interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with teachers to develop and deliver intervention programmes.
  • Establish positive relationships with students to facilitate their learning and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting students.
  • Assist students with specific learning needs, including reading, writing, and mathematical concepts.
  • Monitor and record student progress, using data to inform future interventions.
  • Utilize initiative to source resources and software to support student learning.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting pastoral care and a love of learning.
  • Attend in-service training to maintain professional development and expertise.
