Motorway is a leading used car marketplace that has disrupted the traditional car buying experience. As a fast-growing scale-up, we are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our product development efforts.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results-driven products and features that meet customer needs. With a focus on operational efficiency and customer service excellence, this role will play a crucial part in shaping the future of Motorway.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Product Manager who can drive innovation and growth across our platform. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a deep understanding of our seller verification processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Leading the document and seller identification strategy, evaluating new product opportunities, and creating proposals for new capabilities.
  • Working closely with the squad to scope, build, and measure innovative solutions, generate learnings, and continuously iterate.
  • Creating and owning an ambitious, outcome-driven product roadmap for the team, aligned with our wider strategy and vision.
  • Prioritizing ruthlessly, ensuring that the squad remains focused on solving the most important problems and communicating the rationale behind decisions.
  • Collaborating with the data team to define metrics for measuring success and regularly monitoring and reporting on the performance of products and new features.
  • Leading stakeholder sessions to update on the squad's progress, discovery/experimentation findings, and the impact of features shipped.
  • Educating customers about service excellence initiatives and communicating product launches internally.
  • Staying up-to-date with technological and industry trends, highlighting how we can proactively stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve results.
  • Agile and results-oriented, adept at delivering projects quickly while adapting to new information and iterating for continuous improvement.
  • A desire and ability to make an impact, demonstrated by a track record of delivering products or features with significant positive outcomes.
  • A customer-centric attitude, striving to create amazing user experiences and recognizing the importance of continuous discovery, engaging with users, gathering feedback, and validating assumptions.
  • A passion for product management as a discipline and a drive to continuously improve ways of working.
  • Naturally collaborative with a strong sense of humility.
  • A curious mindset and ability to quickly develop strong domain knowledge.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adapt quickly to new situations.
  • A drive to win and a willingness to make bold decisions when necessary.

Salary: £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
