Pavilion Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Insurance Reconciliation Specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading Lloyd's of London broker, where you will be recognized as a subject matter expert within the Insurance Broking Accounts department.

As a specialist, you will be responsible for handling the majority of transactions across IBA, particularly Insurer Reconciliations, and will serve as a referral point for the team, wider Business, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working predominantly on Insurer Reconciliation/Bordereaux, as well as other areas such as Credit Control, Cash Application, Bank Reconciliation, and Client Money Calculations
  • Management of own portfolio of accounts/insurers, ensuring all key activities are completed for your area of responsibility
  • Providing "step-up" cover and assistance for the Manager when needed
  • Providing coaching to less experienced members of the team/Business, acting as an initial referral for queries and escalations
  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for IBA processes
  • Engaging with internal Business as well as external Clients & Insurers on a regular basis, providing updates and building relationships

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience within finance shared services, preferably within the Insurance industry
  • Understanding of IBA best practices
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements is a plus
