Join Our Team as a Financial Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial leader to join our team at Portsmouth High School. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and direction of our school.

About the Role

The Director of Finance and Operations will be responsible for leading our financial planning and analysis, business development, and estate management. You will work closely with our Headmistress to ensure the financial sustainability and growth of our school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improve financial performance
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing accurate and timely financial information to inform business decisions
  • Manage the school's estate, including property and facilities
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and risk management
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement business development strategies
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced financial leader who has a strong track record of success in a similar role. You will have a degree in a relevant field and significant experience in financial management, business development, and estate management.

You will also have excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
