Mortgage Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Administrator to join our team at a leading Brokerage in Edinburgh. As a Mortgage Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting mortgage and protection applications, driving cases through to completion, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and rectify mortgage applications to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Key in applications and liaise with providers to facilitate the application process
  • Photocopy, certify, and scan documents for mortgage applications
  • Update clients on the progress of their applications and provide timely communication
  • Carry out anti-money laundering checks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Experience in the whole of market mortgage industry or a related administrative background
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
  • Confident telephone manner and excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work as part of a team and use your own initiative
