Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications Specialist to join our team at Essential Employment in Preston.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying judgment and analysis to identify solutions for various web projects, collaborating with colleagues, and acting as the web representative on matrix groups.

They will work with multiple services to provide expertise and support effective communications through web channels, proactively questioning decisions, and identifying potential issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Plan, deliver, and evaluate digital communication projects to meet service requirements.
  • Reputation Management: Generate digital solutions to enhance the organization's reputation.
  • Technical Support: Provide specialized technical and analytical support for complex digital solutions.
  • Content Development: Manage web communication channels and develop digital content.
  • Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with communications managers to ensure measurable outcomes and project objectives.
  • User Engagement: Engage with internal and external users to achieve communication goals and manage online reputation.
  • Cost Efficiency: Identify cost-saving opportunities and advise on digital solutions for operational challenges.
  • Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of web communication processes, usability, and user experience.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and writing skills.
  • Experience with content management systems and technical problem-solving.
About the Role

This is a full-time position available on a temporary basis. The salary for this role is £20,000 per annum.
