About the Role:

RSK Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to join their team in Manchester, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage geo-environmental and geotechnical ground investigation projects for external clients and internal teams.
  • Conduct soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards, including laboratory scheduling.
  • Prepare health and safety plans and risk assessments.
  • Develop remediation strategies, including verification works on site.
  • Establish strong working relationships with clients to drive business growth.
  • Provide technical leadership in project delivery.

Requirements:

  • BEng or BSc in Civil, Geology, or Geotechnical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Desirable: further degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics, or Environmental Science.
  • Registered with a professional body and working towards Chartered status.
  • Significant experience in geotechnical and geo-environmental investigations and reporting.
  • Ability to prepare geotechnical and geo-environmental preliminary reports.
