Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join Renishaw's Early Careers & STEM outreach teams as an Administration & Events Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the teams by undertaking a variety of administrative tasks, including coordinating company welcome days, STEM events planning, Early Careers induction days, and ensuring the team has adequate support to work efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and coordinate internal & external events for early careers
- Support the recruitment team with welcome and induction days for early careers
- Coordinate and administrate the Renishaw work experience programmes
- Manage the STEM ambassador training and coordination
- Plan, book & coordinate presentation weeks for Early Careers graduates
- Liaise with group communication team to share and celebrate good news & celebrations stories
- Coordinate the team building and activity days with external providers
Requirements:
- A good level of education (GCSE's minimum), including Maths and English subjects
- A good standard of PC literacy, with experience of using all Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Organisational skills, to manage high volumes of work, often within tight deadlines
- A proactive well-motivated, confident individual with a 'can do' attitude
- A willingness to work out of office hours – there will be occasional evening and weekend work
- A willingness to occasionally work on other Renishaw sites
