Role Overview

As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you represent our commitment to engaging, listening to, and guiding customers toward suitable products. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to lead, develop, and inspire the team, enhancing the way our products are experienced and creating exceptional and inclusive customer interactions that contribute to our overall commercial success.

This full-time position requires on-site work, including some weekends, where you will provide operational, administrative, and leadership support within the store while upholding Aesop's high standards. This role offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to cultivate transferable people management skills, build external stakeholder relationships, and influence a team in a high-performing environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a leadership role or similar within a customer service setting
  • Proven ability to drive sales and achieve commercial results
  • History of successfully participating in, contributing to, and leading a team; fostering an inclusive and psychologically safe workplace
  • Demonstrated capacity to use empathy in managing interpersonal relationships
  • Open-mindedness and a deep curiosity to understand others, listen without judgment, and act on diverse viewpoints
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and merchandising abilities
  • Familiarity with the skin care industry (preferred)
  • Knowledge of hair care, body care, fragrance, and home categories (preferred)
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly the Microsoft Office suite

This role is Full Time, comprising 40 hours per week, on a fixed-term basis.
