Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at GB Recruitment. As a leading recruitment agency in England, Scotland, and Wales, we specialize in placing talented individuals in top supply chain and logistics roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a HGV Class 1 vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
  • Deliver multiple drops up to 20 per day to various establishments, including pubs, restaurants, and hotels.
  • Handle alcoholic goods and manual handling up to 13 tones of stock per day.
  • Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations.
Requirements:
  • A valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive pay rate of £36 per hour, plus an extra £1,000 attendance bonus scheme per annum paid quarterly.
  • A permanent, full-time contract with a Monday to Friday shift pattern, starting from 5:00am.
