Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to lead production process improvement efforts for a leading global manufacturer. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient production flows, support New Product Introduction (NPI), and ensure that production resources meet both quality and cost objectives.

The Process Engineer will participate in NPI project meetings to assess production impacts and plan accordingly. They will drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce production costs. The role requires collaboration with the purchasing team to ensure the right materials are sourced at optimal quality and cost, as well as working with suppliers to ensure that all components meet required specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Process Engineer, ideally with a background in electrical/electronic manufacturing. They will have a strong understanding of PCBA and box build processes, including managing production test equipment. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and knowledge of Design for Manufacture (DFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs) is also required. Additionally, expertise in line balancing, process flow analysis, and takt time planning, with experience in 5S methodology, is essential. The candidate should also have a strong background in VAVE (Value Analysis and Value Engineering) to improve processes and purchasing, as well as demonstrated problem-solving skills with tools such as RA, CA, 5Y, and 8D.
