About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Intervention Tutor to join an oversubscribed 'Outstanding' school in Kingston. As a Primary Intervention Tutor, you will provide one-on-one and small group interventions to primary-aged students, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and general academic support.

Your Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including dyslexia, ADHD, and speech & language delays.">
  • Work closely with the class teacher to identify students who would benefit from additional support.">
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.">
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in a 1:1 or small group setting.">
  • Strong understanding of primary education, with experience in providing interventions in literacy and numeracy.">
  • Experience with children who have SEN (Special Educational Needs) is highly desirable.">
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.">
  • A 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a Top UK University">
