Education Support Professional

**Job Title:** Education Support Professional - SEMH
Location: Okehampton
Salary: £100 - £120 per day, with the potential for additional income through our Guarantee Pay Scheme opportunities.
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring consistency and continuity for students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, engaging students in their learning, and adapting to changing plans at short notice. Your strong behaviour management skills, patience, and resilience will be crucial in supporting students who may display challenging behaviour.
About You:
- Experience: Previous experience working with children in the UK, whether in early years, primary or secondary education.
- SEN knowledge: A strong understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support young people.
- Personal qualities: Resilient, adaptable, hardworking, and possessing a good sense of humour.
- Professional growth: A willingness to develop your knowledge and skills further.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing plans at short notice.
- Able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
This role is perfect for sports coaches, experienced teaching assistants, or cover supervisors looking for a new challenge. You will work term time only, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30am and 3pm.
