CNC Machinist

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturing business, RECRUIT123 LIMITED, as a CNC Machinist. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with cutting-edge machinery, including the Hwacheon Hi-Tech 200B MC turn-mill CNC lathe and the Proturn SLX 355 CNC lathe.

The role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes to manufacture high-pressure regulators and valves. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CNC lathe programming, setting, and operating, as well as knowledge of machining processes, materials, and quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes to manufacture high-pressure regulators and valves
• Performing CNC machining of subcontract-turned parts as needed
• Engaging in CNC milling and assisting with toolmaking, jigs, and fixtures when required
• Collaborating with the CNC Machining Manager and other team members on various manufacturing tasks
• Ensuring quality control throughout the machining process, adhering to technical drawings and specifications

The company offers a competitive salary of £31,200 - £35,360 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 2pm.
