Job Summary

At Gaia Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Clinical Assessor. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to transition their Paramedic career into a new and challenging role.

About the Role

As a Clinical Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing customers, taking clinical observations and questioning, and creating a written report to support the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) in making a decision on support for the customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess customers and create written reports to support the DWP in making decisions on support.
  • Develop and maintain industry-leading training programs to support customers and transfer Paramedic skills and knowledge to the level required for the role.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to customers, including those with multiple clinical issues.
  • Collaborate with clinical tutors to develop and deliver training programs.
  • Support the maintenance of HCPC registration and provide revalidation support to colleagues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Paramedic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to type at 40 words per minute.
  • Computer or IT skills are a distinct advantage.
