Astute People is seeking a skilled Procurement and Contracts Manager to join our team in the UK Nuclear Energy sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and closing contracts across construction, engineering, manufacturing, and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement contract strategies to drive business growth and minimize risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective contract management and compliance.
- Monitor and report on contract progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Negotiate contract additions and manage change requests to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Degree in contract management, engineering, business administration, or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a contracts manager in an industrial setting, preferably in a regulated sector such as nuclear, oil and gas, pharma, aerospace, or offshore wind.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
