About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Assistant Cook to join our team at John Grooms Court, Norwich. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food services to our residents with physical and intellectual disabilities.

As an Assistant Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals that cater to a wide range of dietary requirements. You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that our residents receive nutritious and delicious meals that meet their individual needs.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service, has a strong work ethic, and is able to work effectively as part of a team. If you have a passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality food services, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for residents with a wide range of dietary requirements
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure high-quality food services
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and colleagues
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Contribute to the development of menus and meal plans
