Job Summary:

Zenith People is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our client's team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering and maintenance support by performing plant preventative maintenance, engineering support during working hours, and out-of-hours support as part of an on-call roster.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, repair, and fault finding of plant and equipment.
Fulfill the requirements of the facility CMMS to reduce unplanned downtime and work towards improving OEE.
Provide input into the electrical maintenance and operation of plant equipment.
Carry out evaluation and risk assessments within all areas of the plant to ensure safe working methods and environment.
Identify suitable external resources when necessary for routine maintenance activities or ongoing improvement projects.
Use SAP to raise purchase requisitions as required.
Undertake periodic training to ensure maintenance activities are performed in compliance with best safe working practices and current legislation.

Requirements:

Formal Electronic or Electrical Engineering qualification (minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) with at least three years of practical experience working as a plant electrician.
Experience with PLC control, Variable Speed Drives, Conveyor Systems, and Thermal processing equipment.
Familiarity with working within a GMP facility.
Experience of working an on-call maintenance system.
