Job Title: Process Safety Engineer
Job Summary:

Bespak is seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our manufacturing processes.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct process hazard analyses (HAZOP, LOPA, What-If) to identify potential risks and hazards
  2. Perform risk assessments (QRA, FMEA, FTA) to evaluate the likelihood and impact of potential risks
  3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA PSM, COMAH) and develop and implement safety systems to mitigate risks
  4. Investigate incidents and conduct root cause analyses to identify the underlying causes of accidents
  5. Deliver process safety training to staff and contractors to ensure a safe working environment


Requirements:

  • Qualified in Chemical/Mechanical/Process Engineering, or related field
  • Process safety experience in a relevant industry
  • Knowledge of hazard analysis techniques and familiarity with OSHA PSM and other regulations
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
