We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team and manage the front desk. As a key member of our team, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and welcome guests, notifying staff members of their arrival.
- Handle outgoing post, including sending special or recorded items to the post office.
- Answer, screen, and redirect incoming phone calls, taking detailed messages when staff members are unavailable.
- Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area and meeting rooms.
- Collect and drop off mail.
- Provide refreshments for guests.
- Offer basic and accurate information in-person, over the phone, and via email.
- Monitor inquiries and the overnight inbox, forwarding them to the relevant individuals or departments.
- Schedule office appointments and book meeting rooms for fee earners, updating diaries accordingly.
- Conduct weekly checks of kitchen and office supplies.
- A interest within the industry is desirable.
- Reception experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Resourcefulness and proactivity in addressing issues are necessary.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively is vital.
