Job Description:

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team and manage the front desk. As a key member of our team, you will be the first point of contact for our organization, providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests, notifying staff members of their arrival.
  • Handle outgoing post, including sending special or recorded items to the post office.
  • Answer, screen, and redirect incoming phone calls, taking detailed messages when staff members are unavailable.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area and meeting rooms.
  • Collect and drop off mail.
  • Provide refreshments for guests.
  • Offer basic and accurate information in-person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Monitor inquiries and the overnight inbox, forwarding them to the relevant individuals or departments.
  • Schedule office appointments and book meeting rooms for fee earners, updating diaries accordingly.
  • Conduct weekly checks of kitchen and office supplies.
Requirements:
  • A interest within the industry is desirable.
  • Reception experience is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Resourcefulness and proactivity in addressing issues are necessary.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively is vital.
