Agricultural Service Engineer Position Overview

Job Summary: Bennett and Game Recruitment is seeking a skilled Agricultural Service Engineer to join our client's team in the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and service agricultural machinery to a high standard, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality control measures.
  • Complete supplier technical case submissions and close cases when complete, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Undertake any reasonable task as may be requested by a supervisor or senior officer of the Company, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Maintain and keep in good repair at all times the van issued for the job, if applicable, and any other Company vehicle or item of plant as may be required.
  • Deliver and collect items as deemed necessary, ensuring efficient logistics and supply chain management.
  • Undertake training required by the company, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in agricultural machinery repair and maintenance.
  • Protect the Company's good name and prevent the misuse of any of its assets, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Deal with enquiries and queries received quickly and efficiently, providing a good service at all times and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical knowledge of agricultural machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
