Key Responsibilities

As a HSQE Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of Freedom Fibre's HSQE policies and procedures. This will involve staying up-to-date with changing legislation and ensuring the company remains compliant. You will also be responsible for leading HSE incident and accident investigations, as well as conducting root cause analyses to identify areas for improvement.

Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering HSQE new starter induction training to Freedom Fibre employees and providing advisory support to staff and managers on HSQE-related matters. You will work closely with various managers to ensure that on-site and off-site HSQE requirements are met, and will conduct site safety audits to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Nebosh Certificate – General or Construction or above
  • ISO accreditation training / experience (lead auditor, general awareness)
