About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Shift M/S Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facility by performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting remedial engineering work, and identifying potential risks related to safety or equipment failures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Engineering specifications, Health & Safety policies, and current legislation.
  • Perform planned maintenance tasks to meet engineering and safety standards.
  • Conduct remedial engineering work on equipment and facilities as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
  • Identify and report any potential risks related to safety or equipment failures to management.
  • Complete and log all planned maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime and production disruption.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working in a Maintenance Department.
  • Must be multi-skilled and be able to carry out both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding.
  • Ideally be apprentice trained.
  • Must have worked in a Fast-paced manufacturing environment e.g. Plastics, Food, Extrusion, Cosmetics, Healthcare etc.
  • Good experience of managing safety in your daily activities.
  • Excellent Mechanical Fault-finding skills.
  • Experience working with CMMS platforms and PPM experience.
  • Must be happy to work 12 hr days and nights.
