Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Manager to join our team at Global Accounting Network. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing the reporting timetable and preparation of evidence/accounting papers required by the business and its auditors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the reporting timetable and preparation of evidence/accounting papers required by the business and its auditors.
  2. Prepare calculations and accounting papers for key accounting judgements.
  3. Provide technical support and expertise to the group, offering guidance on complex accounting issues and assisting in decision-making processes.
  4. Review group-wide accounting under complex standards, such as IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16 etc.
  5. Assist the delivery of the Annual Report and Accounts with particular focus on accounting policies and disclosures.
  6. Point of contact for external auditors, coordinating audit processes and addressing any inquiries or concerns that arise.
  7. Various ad-hoc projects and initiatives.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys managing and delivering complex reporting and audits. You will be working closely with the business to improve their reporting and provide technical support and expertise.

Requirements:

  • A strong technical accounting background.
  • Track record of delivering timely and smooth audits.
  • ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Fluent Russian speaker.
