Accounts Technician Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Technician to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts, managing tax compliance, and providing bookkeeping services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  2. Manage tax compliance and planning
  3. Provide VAT services
  4. Offer bookkeeping services
  5. Contribute to management accounting

The ideal candidate will have strong accountancy practice experience and excellent communication skills, as this role involves direct client contact. AAT qualification is desirable, but not essential. The successful candidate will be proactive in transitioning clients to online platforms and ensuring they make the most of their digital software.
