Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  1. Wayleave Acquisition: Prepare, negotiate, and complete Wayleave agreements and other consents agreements in respect to FTTP Fibre/Civils/Telecommunications installations.
  2. Land Ownership Research: Investigate the Land Registry, planning authority, and utility company websites and other information sources to establish land or property ownership and route feasibility.
  3. Compensation and Fees: Oversee the payment of compensation, professional fees, and other costs associated with Wayleave acquisition.
  4. Survey Coordination: Working closely with the survey team to request and book surveys.
  5. External Relationships: Actively maintain excellent relationships with landowners, agents, government departments, and other external bodies.
  6. Utility Company Applications: Collate and submit applications to external utility companies.
  7. Information Pursuit: Proactively monitor and pursue outstanding information by phone or email.
  8. Rural Landscape Understanding: Understanding of rural landscape and community culture.
  9. Network Design: The ability to read and/or understand network designs.
  10. Driving License: Full driving license.
  11. Technical Skills: Efficient in Microsoft packages and have working knowledge of GIS systems.
