About the Role

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our Adult Mental Health Team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with individuals, their carers, and other professionals to provide high-quality support and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Mental Health Act assessments and statutory functions, ensuring compliance with legislative frameworks.
  • Assess and identify the needs of individuals, ensuring their quality of life and independence are enhanced.
  • Collaborate with internal and external professionals to provide a coordinated response to service users and carers.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to less experienced staff, including students and colleagues.
  • Manage complex caseloads, establishing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans with service users, carers, and service providers.
  • Contribute to team budgets, prioritizing quality and value.
  • Ensure welfare benefit entitlements are identified and met within legislative requirements.
  • Participate in civil emergencies, supporting colleagues and assessing/managing risk.
  • Undertake safeguarding investigations, adhering to Council policies and procedures.
  • Familiarize, uphold, and promote the aims of the Council's Equality and Diversity policies.
Requirements
  • A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
