Bookkeeper - Part Time Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Part-time Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a Fixed Term Contract opportunity for a duration of 7 months, starting on W/C 25th November.

About the Role:

  • As a Part-time Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in managing client bank accounts and processing accounts payable.
  • Responsibilities will include utilising NatWest Bankline to handle client bank accounts, regularly communicating with clients, managing credit control and overseeing outstanding invoices.
  • General bookkeeping duties such as bank reconciliations, expense processing, supplier payments, and payroll journals will also be part of your responsibilities.
  • Assisting with staff payroll and ensuring compliance with financial regulations will also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client bank account management and accounts payable processing
  • Regular client communication and customer service
  • Managing credit control and outstanding invoices
  • General bookkeeping duties, including bank reconciliations and expense processing
  • Staff payroll assistance and financial regulation compliance

Requirements:

  • Experience in bookkeeping and financial administration
  • Knowledge of accounting software and systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £45,000-£50,000 (FTE) or £27,000-£30,000 pro rata
  • A 7-month fixed-term contract
